Dear Islanders,
Here are the "archives" of the Internet Island. Following are the first 19 Topic Posts for the Internet Island, which was created on November 4th, 2005. This list will be posted here on the front page of the Internet Island site in the footer or in a sidebar. I just put up this site tonight and it's almost time for bed, so I'm not doing any "layout work" right now. There are some great articles among the participants in these earlier topic posts, and one thing that might be interesting is that I'm going to post some of the best RIGHT HERE on the Internet Island site, with links to the original Islander, so it's sort of like "Featured Islander". I want more participation, more feedback, and more friendship. I'm going to try to make more of an effort to present some of my favorite responses among the participants Not playing favorites, mind you. I just don't think a lot of the entries were read the first time around, and there are some great posts to be read. I don't want to bombard you with messages and posts, which I've already done tonight, so I'll take my leave right now, and I'll "see you on the Island".

Thanks so much for stopping by and for your great comment. I'm so looking forward to getting to know yourself and the other islanders. I'm going to enjoy reading through the archives above! I don't get much peace during the day to come to xangaland - our 21 month old likes to be out and about most of the day and doesn't think she needs to sleep until 10pm!
Thank you for your comments about Tiree. My Dad is out there every couple of months, and Mum has been out with him - they say it's an incredible island ... but there's no trees and only one little hillock! I've found xanga to be a great source of inspiration, debate, fun, and friendship. It's hard making good friends, though, who live on the other side of the world!

I love all of my islanders
I like this format a lot better than when it was on your other site. It is so much easier to get this page to load. Even with DSL, it is very slow on the other site... which would limit the number of entries I could get to before running out of time
